A yummy reward

I was recently treated to a very yummy experience as a reward and it was so good I have to tell you about it....

It was a voucher for lunch at Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons.   

Without a shadow of a doubt it is a very luxurious hotel and restaurant and giving this as gift or reward to somebody really shows them how much they are appreciated.  Although this is the ultimate luxury hotel and foodie experience combined it still has a fairly relaxed continental atmosphere.

There are two dining areas, a traditional dining room which was the original entrance to the Manoir building and a more contemporary, lighter conservatory. Raymond Blanc himself was there and was working the tables with his usual effortless charm - it was great to see him!

The food was fantastic - it was pure theatre in its presentation.  The desserts (OMG!) were very difficult too choose as they were all amazing and when they came they were almost too beautiful too eat!  The food, the hotel, the staff were all impeccable and a very special treat for anybody - foodie or not.

If anybody would like to reward me or treat me in future - I don't mind whether you get me the Cookery School experience or an overnight stay - I'm not fussy!!
